Several times through the donghua we can see Ira wearing graphic t-shirts with pop culture references on it. These shirts often have gaming themes on them.

In episode 2, Neil has a Bruce Lee poster in his room.
Episode 4[]
In episode 4, we see Damao punching a robber. The robber flies in the sky, turning into a star, and he screams a typical Team Rocket line!
Episode 5[]
At the start of this episode Ira is drawn momentarily in the "virgin" pose, a reference to the virgin vs chad walk meme. His pose in the donghua matches key points on the original image. Ira has his back slouched, stiff arm movement, has his head craned forward, has long strides, and is assumedly avoiding eye contact.
In Ira’s room, there are multiple posters and figures from many different famous franchises. There are also gaming consoles like the Xbox, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch present on his shelf.
